A feast of colour, texture and expressive brushstrokes delight the senses when you gaze at this lovely painting by the Canadian artist, Sasha Rogers.
The palette is sensuous—deep pink, purple, melon, sienna, with flashes of white and black. Rogers’ signature ‘horizon line’ divides the color field of the canvas in two—upper is softer in hue, lower is richer. The overall effect compels the viewer to look towards the line into infinity.

Sasha Rogers acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors in Drawing and Painting at the University of Saskatchewan. A Master of Visual Arts in Painting followed at the University of Alberta where she received the highest distinction given for outstanding research in visual arts. Rogers taught painting and drawing at both the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Toronto. She has had numerous solo exhibitions in Canada, attended international art fairs and her artwork is held in many corporate collections nationwide. Private collectors span the globe including Canada, the U.S., and Europe.
