About the Work
This hollow, polygonal indoor sculpture from the Drop Stones series by Shayne Dark is steel coated in bronze. This sculpture represents an "erratic" -- geometric stones, shaped and carried often hundreds of kilometres by glacial ice. Natural stones manifested here in sculpted form creates a natural tension contrasting our experience of nature in an urban setting.
