Alberta born Tyler Rock has a master’s in visual arts from the University of South Australia and a diploma specializing in glass from the Alberta College of Art where he has been teaching for more than twenty years. Rock is the former president of the Glass Art Association of Canada. He and his wife, glass artist Julia Reimer own the Firebrand Glass Studio in Black Diamond, Alberta. Rock has lectured and taught workshops on glass blowing around the world. His work has appeared in numerous solo and group exhibitions across the globe and can be found in both public and private collections.
