About Offering

Using a glorious tapestry of rich colours…burnished copper, yellow, red, purple and blue, Alice Teichert’s acrylic painting, “Offering” seems to evoke images of ancient offerings made to appease the gods. Layers of iridescent gels add depth, texture and movement to this beautiful piece. The use of a single, small red dot anchors the work and encourages the viewer to look upward.

Teichert studied music, philosophy and visual arts in Belgium and France. Since 1989, she has built an international career with over 30 solo exhibitions in Germany, France, NY, Canada, Switzerland and Australia. Teichert’s paintings are held in many private, corporate and public collections worldwide.
