Ania Biczysko

Ania Biczysko obtained a Master’s Degree in Sculpture from the Fine Art Academy in Gdansk, Poland (1986). Biczysko’s versatility is reflected through a variety of creative expressions and mediums. Over the years, she has received many public exhibitions and commissions, both within Canada and internationally. The artist’s numerous public art commissions include: The Royal Ontario Museum, Ontario Hospital Association, Cineplex Odeon Corporation, Showcase Cinemas (US, Argentina, and Great Britain), the Ontario Lottery Corporation, and Civic Center Resource Library in City of Vaughan. Biczysko’s works are in private collections in Poland, the US, UK, Norway, Monaco, and Canada. Biczysko has also curated several exhibitions at Gallery 7 (Toronto), and at the Canadian Polish Art Initiatives, an organization that she co-founded.
