Biography

After studies in photography at Sheridan College, Canadian artist Mark Bartkiw worked as a freelance photographer in advertising, portraiture, and the fashion and music industries. His clients have included Toronto Life, Paramount Pictures, Universal Music and many more. In his photo-based artworks, Bartkiw disrupts the landscape by juxtaposing expected elements with slightly surreal, dream-like imagery. Bartkiw’s artworks are held in corporate and private collections.
